Sales Representative Position
Department: Sales
Position Description: The MCE Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business by prospecting opportunities, understanding client requirements, and proposing and selling information technology products and value added services that meet those requirements while achieving a superior level of satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Develops a data base of qualified new business leads through referrals, cold calling, networking, and following up on leads generated by MCE Marketing
- Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals.
- Develop new opportunities from existing installed base accounts
- Creates and conducts effective proposal presentations and RFP responses that identify prospects’ business problems and proposing products and services to address the business problems.
- Configure, price, and quote advanced technology solutions
- Understands MCE Quality Policy and adheres to MCE’s Quality Management System (QMS)
- Adheres to all company policies, values, procedures, and business ethics.
- Assists in the development and implementation of MCE Marketing plans.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years sales experience in the computer industry selling value added services, servers, storage, and network solutions.
- Self motivated with a proven ability to achieve sales quotas.
- Experience with cold calls and client development required.
- Excellent communications, presentation, organizational, and computer skills required.
- Strong understanding of IT industry and market dynamics.
- Experience with CRM and lead generation tools.
- College degree desired, but not required.
