MCE Leadership Team

John Maydonovitch - Executive Leadership

John is responsible for the overall supervision and management of MCE operations, personnel, and expenditures. John is accountable for management of day-to-day operations, sales and revenue growth, marketing initiatives, client satisfaction, and planning for MCE’s future.

John joined MCE in 2003, and brings a wealth of senior executive experience, including holding previous positions as President and CEO of Crescent Technology Group, President and Co-Founder of Aptia Networks, a venture backed eServices company, and General Manager of HP Professional Services, Americas.

John holds a M.S. from Santa Clara University School of Engineering, and a B.S. from Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio. He is Chair of the Industry Advisory Board for the Santa Clara School of Engineering, and is also a Trustee and member of the Executive Committee at Xavier University.

Steve Zirelli - Sales

Steve leads the MCE sales team and also tends to MCE’s large accounts where he works as a liaison between MCE and large clients. Steve began working for MCE as an account executive and aided with the development of the OEM Appliance Manufacturing business unit. His experience gives him a unique understanding of the requirements needed to clearly set expectations with prospects and communicate the company’s value proposition to ensure long term customer satisfaction and establish enduring relationships.

Steve received his B.S. in Economics at the University of California Davis.

Andrea Faz - Marketing

Andrea Faz is responsible for managing all marketing activities within MCE, as well as developing and maintaining all public related material. In addition Andrea oversees the maintenance of www.mce.com.

Andrea graduated from Santa Clara University where she received a B.S. in Commerce with a Marketing emphasis. She has also worked with different start-ups within the valley and helped with building new key clients and relationship management.

Tim Franks - Business Development

Tim Franks brings over 15 years of technology experience to MCE, and presently serves as the company’s Director of Business Development. In this role Tim develops and manages partnerships, modifying MCE’s product lines based on technology best practices and trends. He works directly with the sales team in positioning and designing solutions based on the customer’s applications and requirements.

In his seven years with MCE, he has also served as a storage and server product specialist, leveraging previous engineering experiences with TruSAN Networks and working with storage centric accounts at Bell Microproducts. Tim attended Gavilan College, and holds multiple technology certifications.

Marina Solomensky - Finance and Administration

Marina Solomensky is responsible for the management of financial and administrative functions at MCE. Marina joined MCE in 2006, when the company was experiencing rapid growth and Marina has successfully secured the financial stability of the company to support that growth.

Prior to working for MCE Marina held accounting and finance management positions with ADX, Inc., Genmark, and Corporate Express. Marina holds an MBA with an Accounting emphasis from California State University, East Bay.

Terry Tracy - OEM Appliance Manufacturing and Embedded Solution Services

Terry heads the OEM Appliance Manufacturing and Embedded Solutions Services, and is integral to MCE when designing client’s appliances and embedded solutions. He is recognized for his specialized expertise in graphics and hardware, which has allowed him to consolidate client’s architecture reducing their overall manufacturing costs while improving quality.

Terry Tracy received his professional training in Florida while he was enrolled in the Navy. After completing his time with the military, Terry began working for an electronic manufacturing company where he specialized in storage.

Terry rejoined the military community when he was hired to head a destructive testing lab that tested military fighter planes. During this time, Terry was recognized and nominated as the Representative for Southern California’s Professional Engineering Association (SCPEA) where he represented approximately 8,000 engineers. Moving to the bay area gave Terry the opportunity to work for Sun and SGI where he ran virtual and engineering reality labs within the advanced graphics engineering department.

Oscar Saldana - Quality Assurance

Oscar joins the MCE team providing a large wealth of experience and knowledge within quality assurance, regulatory compliance, life-cycle management, standard procedures, policies, and process improvement. Oscar has worked within the medical device and robotic industry, and is an expert with United States and E.U. standards. Oscar has been recognized for introducing effective training programs and has the ability to effectively lead strategies amongst company departments
