Inside Sales/Account Manager

Job Description:

MCE has an immediate opening for a full-time inside sales representative with the goal of promotion to full account manager within six months. Although sales experience and a technical aptitude are required, we will offer additional training for a qualified, hardworking candidate. The candidate will be working side-by-side with our team of Senior Account Managers who have a combined 50+ years experience in our specific market.

Duties:
  • Develop new opportunities from existing accounts.
  • Prospect and create new business accounts
  • Make 50 outbound calls daily getting past the "gatekeeper".
  • Preparing quotations and responsive proposals.
  • Custom configure and price advanced systems.
  • Sell solution by understanding the customer's requirements and presenting products and services to meet those needs.
  • Close business by adding value during the sales process while building rapport and addressing potential obstacles.
  • Manage accounts by following up on customer shipments, RMA's, invoices, etc.
Required Skills:
  • 2 years experience in a sales, sales support or customer service role, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell.
  • Technical aptitude in understanding customer requirements, recommending IT products, and presenting product features and benefits.
  • Self motivation with a desire to achieve financial success.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • College degree desirable but not required.
Compensation:
  • Base salary of $40,000.00 with commission.
  • Following 6 month training period, reduced base pay with a goal to be on 100% commission within 12 months.
